Ever Hear The Saying: "You Can't Teach An Old Dog New Tricks?"

If you have, it pretty much summarizes tens of thousands of words in the Federal Regulations (the rules the Social Security Administration uses). In case you are not familiar, what it means is that the older you get, the harder it is to make changes. If you can't do the usual job you did and you are over 50, it is easier to qualify for disability benefits.

Let's face it, if you're over 50, most people's bodies and mind are different than they were in their 20s or 30s, or 40s! The Regulations tell Social Security judges and workers to take that into account when determining whether or not your physical and/or mental problems would keep you from working full time.

Simply stated: If you are over 50, the rules make it easier for me to convince SSA or a disability judge to find you disabled.
